Topher co-produced the instructional DVD, "Spey to Z." He has guided professionally for Atlantic salmon, and fished extensively for salmon, steelhead and sea-run brown trout.

His first book, Atlantic Salmon Magic, is due to be published in 2009. He lives in Portland, Maine.
